Diggle
Diggle doesn’t have chicken pox on its leaves;
Those spots are sores where cells have died
Of iron overdose.
Even this Diggle could survive and thrive
If scientists only gave it only the iron it needs.
But on its own Diggle takes more and more,
Turns yellow, dries and dies.
