"Tipper," a creamy-white Star of Bethlehem lily named for Mrs. Tipper Gore, made its American debut this week. South African Ambassador Franklin Sonn unveiled the exotic hybrid during a special ceremony on Oct. 16 at the U.S. National Arboretum.
