At the National Peanut Research Laboratory, ongoing studies evaluate the response of peanut physiology to irrigation type and tillage treatment. Throughout the growing season, crop water use and development are studied as affected by overhead and subsurface drip irrigation, combined with conventional and conservation tillage.
