This parasitic wasp (about 2 millimeters long), Colpoclypeus florus, attempts to sting a larva of the oblique-banded leafroller. The wasp's stinger (protruding from its abdomen) injects a toxin that causes the leafroller to spin extra-thick webbing around itself.
