    One characteristic of a light source is ‘chromaticity’, measured in kelvins (K). This characteristic can be associated with the color change of black metal heating up. As temperature increases, the color changes from red to yellow to white to blue-white. Light sources with temperatures of 2000-3000 K are characteristically red while higher temperatures 6000-7000 K are bluish white
