Color is a complicated phenomenon. Humans respond to the electromagnetic spectrum at wavelengths of about 400-800 nm. The response and interpretation of the ‘color’ depends on (1) the light source; (2) the object; (3) the surroundings or the background; and (4) the viewer (I.e., human, instrument, etc).
