Measuring Economical Returns of Fungicide Sprays Against Ascochyta Blight on Resistant Chickpea Cultivars

Objective: Determine the economical returns of fungicide sprays in controlling Ascochyta blight on resistant cultivars in commercial fields in the Palouse region.

Anticipated Benefits and Information Transfer: The information generated in this study is directly for the use of growers. It will enable us to project economical returns of fungicide spray in controlling Ascochyta blight on current resistant cultivars. In addition, we will establish the relationship of levels of Ascochyta blight severity with yield and quality of resistant cultivars.
