Feed the Future Projects |

The Office of International Research Programs (OIRP) facilitates ARS National Programs and scientists participating in USAID's "whole of government" program, Feed the Future to enhance food security in selected countries. Feed the Future strives to increase agricultural production and income in developing countries.
Addressing food security issues through research is a critical component of Feed the Future. The idea is to work regionally with target countries and their people, building research capacity and applying new technologies for both the US and the developing nations. The global research portfolio is an integral strategy within the broader Feed the Future Initiative.
