Mission:
The mission of the Water Management and Conservation Research Unit is to develop new technologies, such as models and remote sensing for enabling water use efficiency and agricultural productivity in arid environments, and increasing water supplies through the safe reuse of reclaimed municipal wastewater. Research develops water and nutrient management strategies, water conservation strategies and protection of water quality in systems involving soil, aquifers, crops, and the atmosphere.
