Areas of Responsibility

Manage the Seed Storage facility and GRIN data for the Pullman site

Fill seed orders, enter requestors' addresses in GRIN if needed, enter order and order items, make seed packet labels, fill packet, make shipping invoice and mail

Store new seed, get seed weights and make needed changes in GRIN inventory

Assess seed viability - determine percent germination of W6 inventory samples

Enter passport data, observations on accessions and other data elements into GRIN. Write reports and SQL scripts to obtain data from GRIN, such as the annual report data on our home page

Assistants include Paula Moore and temporary employees to assist in filling seed orders, processing incoming seed, storing increased seed, counting seed for germination, and evaluating germination results
