Fred Fox - Information Technology Specialist

Fred provides high level support for wind erosion research through instrument development, data acquisition programming, literature review of existing research for incorporation into wind erosion related models, model programming and testing, software development and computer support. He has done development work on all aspects of the Wind Erosion Prediction system, including improved methods for the modeling of water movement, crop growth, management processes, soil state, climate, and simulation results. He has also worked on instrumentation to measure soil surface roughness, standing residue and soil aggregate stability.
