Hubert Lagae- Engineering Technician

Growing up on a ranch operation in eastern Colorado, Hubert has had an interest in agriculture most of his life. His master’s thesis work involved analyzing data from a long-term research project in eastern Colorado on the use of biosolids in a wheat-fallow rotation. The effects of various factors, including soil organic matter, on wheat yield and protein was estimated. In his present position as Engineering Research Technician, he assists in planning, initiating, and conducting research projects. He also provides technical support in wind erosion research in such areas as instrumentation, equipment maintenance, and field, laboratory and wind tunnel studies.
