Responsibilities

I am responsible for the care and regeneration of cultivated and wild species of the genus Arachis. I maintain plants of this genus in the greenhouse and the field. My responsibilities include planting, irrigation, weed and insect control, propagation, disease testing, as well as, harvesting and cleaning the regenerated seed. I collect observational data on the genus and provide this information to the GRIN database in order for all researchers to have access to this valuable phenotyping data.
