Responsibilities
I am a geneticist and curator for special-purpose legumes, new, industrial, and miscellaneous crops. I manage, conserve, evaluate, enhance, and approve distributions of seed and related information for these crops. I regenerate plants and seeds from these species for use by researchers worldwide. I also conduct research on plant and seed regeneration capacity, and on genetic variability of morphological, fatty acid, flavonol, isoflavonoid, and mineral traits.
