Responsibilities

I am the clover technician. I am responsible for maintaining the genus Trifolium in the greenhouse as well as the field. My responsibilities include obtaining the seeds, planting, irrigation, fertilizing, weed and insect management, as well as harvesting and cleaning the regenerated seeds. I also record descriptor data on the genus in the field for the data to be turned in to be entered into the GRIN database. When needed, I also assist other curators and technicians with their areas.
