Responsibilities

I assist curators and technicians in field layouts, tilling, and planting for regeneration and research. I assist with fertilization, soil sampling, and applying pesticides for all crops in the Unit. I set up irrigation (risers, drip, or overhead) in fields for the curators and technicians. I assist with harvesting, threshing and seed cleaning for all crops in the Unit. I do general and preventative maintenance on all equipment.
