Responsibilities

I am the seed storage manager at the Plant Genetic Resources Conservation Unit. I oversee the receipt and distribution of all germplasm for our location. I am responsible for the addition and maintenance of accession and inventory data in the Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN) for our location. I assist the Research Leader and curators by providing information from the GRIN database for establishing regeneration priorities. In addition, I am responsible for making sure the cold storage facilities are operating properly and serve as the primary contact in case of an emergency.
