Scientists Thomas Carter and Daniel Israel will attend the ASA-CSSA-SSSA International Annual Meetings in New Orleans, LA, Nov 4-8, 20007. They will be presenting four and three papers, respectively, entitled, "Comparison of Three Methods to Screen Soybean Genotypes for Salt Tolerance", "Leaf Hydraulic Conductance and Increased Crop Water-Use Efficiency", "Traits of Interest for Improving Weed Suppressive Ability in Soybean during the Critical Period for Weed Competition", Yield of Slow-Wilting Soybean Breeding Lines in High- and Low-Yielding Environments in the Southern USA", "Late Rotation Nitrogen Management in Deciduous Short Rotation Woody Crops", " Broiler Diets to Reduce Phosphorus: Manure Composition and Corn Response", and "Short-Term Nitrogen Transformations Associated with Soil Aggregates and Microbial Community Composition in Three Different Tillage Systems".
