Earl Vories of the Cropping Systems and Water Quality Research Unit, along with Phil Tacker and Robert Hogan of the University of Arkansas received an ASABE Superior Paper Award for 2006 from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for their paper "Multiple Inlet Approach to Reduce Water Requirements for Rice Production." The paper was published in 2005 in the ASABE journal Applied Engineering in Agriculture. Nine papers were selected to receive 2006 Superior Paper Awards from approximately 427 papers published in three ASABE journals in 2005.
