|Job Shadowing at the Center|
Job shadowing provides students a unique opportunity for an up-close look at the world of work as they “shadow” workplace mentors going through a normal day on the job. On April 28, 2010, Mitchell Reeves, an 8th grader in Ms. Chadick’s Career Orientation Class at
Mitchell wants to become an architect and shadowing Mark and Jeff provided him with a unique look at the inner workings of the building. Mitchell toured the greenhouses, the offices and labs, and even went onto the roof for a birds-eye view of the building and surroundings. Mark showed Mitchell the center’s blueprints and he was able to see firsthand how the design on paper related to the actual building.
