On Friday, January 12, 2010, Dr. Jianmin Wang and two of his students, David Irons and Brandi Clark, from the Missouri University of Science and Technology met with Dr. Wengui Yan at Dale Bumpers National Rice Research Center. Dr. Wang and his students are working on a cooperative project to improve the nutrient quality of rice grain from soil and plant chemical aspects. Dr. Yan provided them with soil samples and rice seeds for their project as well as demonstrated how to grow rice in greenhouses.
