Septemeber 2009 - Administrator's Outreach, Diversity, and Equal Opportunity (ODEO) Awards

ProgramDr. Knipling is pleased to announce the winners of the 2009 Administrator’s Outreach, Diversity, and Equal Opportunity (ODEO) Awards Program.  This annual program identifies and recognizes ARS employees for their exemplary achievements and demonstrated commitment in promoting a diverse workplace free from discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; and for their demonstrated commitment to workforce diversity through actions that clearly exceeds responsibilities of their positions or assignments in ARS.   The ANRI winners are: Category II – Non-supervisory/Non-managerial :

Septemeber 2009 - ANRI Class of 2010 Headquarters Funded Post-Docs

Congratulationsto Drs. George Liu (BFGL), NP 101, whose proposal "Genome-wide" association study of CNV and QTL in Holsteins" and Jitendra Patel (EMFSL), NP 108, whose proposal "Practical impact of curli and cellulose production by Shiga-toxigenic Escherichia coli on produce safety" have been awarded Headquarters-funded research associate positions for 2010.

August 2009 - Former ANRI Employee, Inducted into the ARS Science Hall of Fame: Congratulations!!

Max Paape -  Formerly in Bovine Functional Genomics Laboratory (BFGL).

In recognition of exceptional research adn leadership that enhanced animal and human health through advances in the identification, control, and prevention of bovine mastitis.
