The Soil Science Society of America (SSA) awarded Laj Ahuja the 2010 Soil Science Research Award.
Jim Ascough was elected Vice-President of the International Environmental Modeling and Software Society (iEMSs), at the general meeting of the society’s 2010 conference in Ottawa, Ontario (July 5-8, 2010).
Tim Green was selected to serve as Chair-Elect in 2011 and Chair in 2012 of the Soil Physics Division (S-1) of the Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). S-1 is one of 11 scientific divisions of SSSA, and SSSA is part of the Tri-Societies (Agronomy, Crops and Soils or ASA-CSSA-SSSA).
