Areawide Pest Management Research Unit

Areawide pest management is a concept of preventive suppression of a mobile insect pest species throughout its geographic range, rather than reactive field-by-field control.  The mission of the Areawide Pest Management Research Unit is to develop, integrate, and evaluate multiple strategies and technologies into system approaches for management of field and food crop insect pests.
