Saranyaphat Boonmee is a graduate student from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. She is studying on the fungi in Dothideomycetes based on herbarium type specimens. This study aims to clarify genera in selected families of Dothideomycetes, by examining herbarium specimens at the BPI and other herbaria. She is also working on the family Tubeufiaceae with Dr. Amy Rossman and Dr. Kevin Hyde.

Rungtiwa Pookamsak, a graduate student from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand, is studying Dothideomycetes on monocotyledons in Thailand as saprobes and plant pathogens. She is focusing on herbarium specimens of the families Dacampiaceae, Fenestellaceae, Leptopeltidaceae, Mycoshaerellaceae, Phaeosphaeriaceae and Schizothyriaceae.

Dimuthu S. Manamgoda is a Sri Lankan graduate student from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. She is working on the taxonomy and molecular phylogeny of Bipolaris, Curvularia and Cochliobolus based on isolates from worldwide collections. During her visit at SMML she will carry on a study of Bipolaris and Curvularia based on US isolates using multilocus phylogenetic analysis.

Dhanushka Udayanga is a Sri Lankan graduate student from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand. He is working on the  taxonomy of Diaporthe (Phomopsis) based on various isolates from worldwide collections. His research on Diaporthe with Dr.Lisa Caslebury and Dr. Amy Rossman is focused on the epitypification of important phytopathogenic taxa particularly from the United States using multilocus phylogenetic studies.
