Introduction

ERRC has ongoing bio-fuels research on both the thermochemical and biochemical platforms for feedstock conversion.  The thermochemical team works mostly on fast pyrolysis, though biomass gasification and combustion research are also of interest to us.  The pyrolysis research team at ERRC is part of the Crop Conversion Science and Engineering Research Unit and the fast pyrolysis research project at ERRC is performed under CRIS project -082, part of ARS National Program 213/307.  The thermochemical conversion research team at ERRC has published over 20 papers since 2006.
