The University of Arkansas Rice Research and Extension Center and the USDA Agricultural Research Service have established two weather stations at the Rice Research and Extension Center located at Stuttgart, Arkansas. These stations were established by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture and is located at latitude 34.464 North, longitude 91.401 West.  This station is referred to as the East or Jared’s station. A second station is operated by USDA Agricultural Research Service and is located at latitude 34.469 North, longitude 91.420 West. This station is referred to as the West station. Both stations collect rainfall, air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, sunlight, and soil temperature data. Data from both stations are collected each minute and summarized as hourly and daily averages.  Details on how these data are obtained can be found at the links shown on this page.
