Alternative forages are studied at AFSRC for possible use in forage-livestock systems. Jared Robertson (Chemist) and Hannah Radford (formerly, AFSRC) are harvesting forage chicory (Cichorium intybus L.), from small plots, to be analyzed in the laboratory.
