Scientists and research programs within TMRU span a broad range of disciplines, including chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, mycology, plant biology, plant pathology, and toxicology. We are a diverse, highly interactive, dynamic team focused on the goals of understanding the mode of toxicity related to mycotoxin exposure, the environmental conditions and plant-fungal interactions associated with mycotoxin production, and ultimately reducing mycotoxin contamination of food, feed, and forage.
