Scientific staff at the U.S. Arid-Land Agricultural Research Center hold PhD degrees and specialize in entomology, plant physiology, plant genetics, molecular biology, soil science, microbiology and agricultural engineering. Technical staff have B.S. or M.S. degrees in biologically or agriculturally related fields. The laboratory also has administrative staff that provide assistance in personnel management, finance, computer systems and clerical fields.
