Partnering with Nematology Laboratory
The Nematology Laboratory conducts research that addresses the needs of its stakeholders. Laboratory scientists regularly interact with other scientists in academia, government, and the private sector. In addition, nematode identifications and related expertise are often provided to the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
Research Partnerships - Links to Collaborators:
Nematode identifications and related expertise are provided to the National Identification Services branch of APHIS, Riverdale, MD (Dr. Michael Firko, Branch Chief).
The Laboratory is collaborating on studies of a needle nematode damaging pine nurseries with Dr. Stephen Fraedrich, Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Service, Athens, GA.
Please contact the Beltsville Area Office of Technology Transfer for more information if you are interested in developing cooperative interactions with this laboratory or with other research programs at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center.
