We are the Crop Production Systems Research Unit - CPSRU

 

The Crop Production Systems Research Unit (CPSRU) has a comprehensive interdisciplinary research program dedicated to solving problems associated with crop management. 

Specific research emphasis is focused on:

Developing innovative management systems based on rational use of GMO resistant systems, rotations, optium fertilization and agrochemicals, and tillage systems; 

Developing and improving methods for optimal delivery of agrochemicals and other products; 

Defining and optimizing irrigation approaches and scheduling to judiciously apply water and conserve water resources;

Assessing the impacts of herbicide use and management practices on soil resources and water quality;

Determining the critical biological factors determining weediness.
