Mission

The Animal Improvement Programs Laboratory (AIPL) discovers and develops improved methods for the genetic and genomic evaluation of economically important traits of dairy animals.

Current research

"Improving Genetic Predictions in Dairy Animals Using Phenotypic and Genomic Information" is AIPL's major appropriated research project. Related projects are made possible through cooperative agreements and trusts with industry partners. Find documentation of individual projects in Research.
